We can Normally backup our data by using iTunes or iCloud, but the iCloud was free storage given by apple that had certain limitations, we can backup upto 5GB with iCloud. If you need more Storage, we need to sign up for Premium account, so iTunes is cheaper which the storage is your personal computer

How to backup your iPhone 5 Data

• First go to iTunes and open your Device, whether it is iPhone or iPad
• Now go to Summary tab and check on options  ” Automatically Backup “
• Choose the preferred one, if you choose iCloud data will be backed up to their storage, you need to enter your Apple id and password for this step
• If you Choose the Computer tab, your data will be stored in your personal computer
• But i recommend the backup by just Clicking the Device and Clicking onBackup

How to backup your Transfer Purchases or Apps

• If you need to backup Apps, just click on the Transfer Purchases, it will store the apps in your Computer
• When you need to Restore the apps, Simply Drag the Apps that was transferred to iTunes back to the Device
